How to reduce UPI Payment declines
To avoid UPI payment declines follow the below-mentioned instructions while transacting:
- Ensure you have sufficient funds in your account while paying from UPI mode
- Ensure that a valid UPI PIN is entered while transacting
- Transact as per the limits set on UPI transactions
- Ensure the receiver’s account is not blocked/frozen
- For the first 24 hours of registering, do not transact for more than ₹ 5,000 (cumulative)
- Do not enter incorrect UPI PIN 3 times, instead reset the PIN using the instructions given below:
- Click on Reset UPI PIN in the accounts section
- Enter the last 6 digits of the account’s Debit Card
- Enter the expiry date of the account’s Debit Card
- Enter the OTP received from the Bank
- Confirm New UPI PIN
- You will receive UPI PIN reset confirmation
