How to reduce UPI Payment declines

To avoid UPI payment declines follow the below-mentioned instructions while transacting:

 

  • Ensure you have sufficient funds in your account while paying from UPI mode
  • Ensure that a valid UPI PIN is entered while transacting
  • Transact as per the limits set on UPI transactions
  • Ensure the receiver’s account is not blocked/frozen
  • For the first 24 hours of registering, do not transact for more than ₹ 5,000 (cumulative)

 

  • Do not enter incorrect UPI PIN 3 times, instead reset the PIN using the instructions given below:

    • Click on Reset UPI PIN in the accounts section
    • Enter the last 6 digits of the account’s Debit Card
    • Enter the expiry date of the account’s Debit Card
    • Enter the OTP received from the Bank
    • Confirm New UPI PIN
    • You will receive UPI PIN reset confirmation
