  • Only Purchase transactions will be considered as eligible transactions for the purpose of calculating achievement towards the Spend Levels.   • All transactions that have been carried out on the Card during the Program Period and reversed subsequently for any reason whatsoever shall not be considered while calculating Spends Achievement under this Program.
  • If the Cardholder ceases to be a Cardholder at any time during the Program Period or before the Credit of the Reward Points, all benefits under the Program shall lapse. This includes any relationship terminated either by the Bank or the Cardholder.
  • The Bank reserves the right at any time without prior notice to add, alter, modify, all or any of these terms and conditions or replace, wholly or in part, this Program by any other Program, whether similar or different to this Program or to withdraw it altogether without giving prior notice.

FAQs

What is Contactless Payment?

The contactless payment feature lets consumers make safe and secure payments with a simple tap of the card on the POS machines at the Merchant outlets. These NFC enabled terminals transmits payment details and authenticates transactions without swiping the card.

How do I use the Contactless feature on my IndusInd Bank PAYBACK Credit Card?

Look out for a retailer displaying the contactless symbol and Visa/Master Card logo at the point of sale (POS). Hold your card within 4 cm of the secure contactless reader. Terminal will beep and/or display four green lights confirming completion of the transaction. Four green lights will appear. This takes no more than half a second. You can then remove your card and the transaction will be complete.

How close to the reader does the card need to be?

You should hold your Contactless card within 4cm of the card reader.

Is there a limit on the value of goods you can purchase with Contactless Credit Card?

You can use your Contactless Card for any amount within the overall daily POS transaction limit of INR 2000.

Will I receive a charge slip for transactions I make?

A contactless payment is designed to let you make transactions easily and conveniently. The retailer will ask if you require a charge slip. If you do not require a charge slip, please advise the retailer and a charge slip will not be given.

How do I know when a payment has been made?

Your transaction is confirmed by a beep sound and/or illumination of four green indicator lights and a display message confirming that your transaction has been successful.

Could I unknowingly have made a purchase if I walk past the reader?

Your card has to be tapped within 4 centimetres of the card reader for more than half a second and the retailer must have first entered the amount for you to approve. Terminals can only process one payment transaction at a time, therefore reducing transaction errors.

Is this a Chip Card?

Yes. This Credit Card is secured with a Contact & Contactless Chip along with Magstripe and NFC antenna. The NFC antenna is for enabling Contactless Payments at Merchant locations accepting contactless Payments. The Chip and the Magstripe portion is used for Credit transactions - such as usage at POS terminals.

What happens when the contactless transaction is declined?

In the rare event when the Contactless transaction on your Credit Card is declined due to any reason the Cardholder can request the merchant to make the payment by swiping or dipping the Card in the traditional manner.

What happens when the transaction slip is not generated and customer's account is debited?

Generally, such situation does not arise. However, in any such stray cases, one may contact IndusInd Bank customer care center to enquire about the status of the transaction.

What process needs to be followed in case of lost or stolen card?

In case your Credit Card is lost or stolen, please contact IndusInd Bank Customer Care immediately to block your card. You can also block your lost/stolen Credit Card immediately on our Netbanking portal – IndusNet or IndusMobile App.

What is PAYBACK?

PAYBACK is a multi-brand loyalty program that lets you earn and redeem points on every shopping. With a wide range of in-store and online partners, you can earn points on groceries, fuel, entertainment, travel, apparel and more. Members can stack up points and redeem these points for free shopping.

Members earn PAYBACK Points by swiping the PAYBACK Card or by quoting the Linked Mobile Number at the time of check-out at our participating partners.

Points earned can be redeemed for a host of reward options from the PAYBACK Infinity Rewards e-Catalogue or for free shopping across multiple in-store and online partner brands.

What are the benefits of PAYBACK?

PAYBACK Membership comes at no cost and offers a host of benefits. Members earn and redeem PAYBACK Points at over 50+ in-store and offline partner brands. Points can be earned by booking movie tickets, fuelling up vehicle, for shopping at a variety of online shopping websites, buying groceries, publishing reviews, shopping for apparel and a lot more. How do I earn PAYBACK points?

How do I login to my new PAYBACK account?

Visit www.payback.in and enter your 16 digit PAYBACK Number or Linked Mobile Number to activate your account online. To view your point balance or update your profile or to redeem PAYBACK Points, you need to enter your 4-digit PIN.

PIN is a 4 digit numeric value providing access to your PAYBACK Account. In case you do not have a PIN, click the ‘Forgot PIN’ link and you will be sent a PIN on your Linked Mobile Number and registered email id.

What will happen to my existing PAYBACK membership number?

If you are an existing PAYBACK member, the same PAYBACK account number will be updated in Bank’s records for crediting PAYBACK Points (subject to internal criteria), else a new PAYBACK account may be created and updated accordingly. For any queries, you may contact PAYBACK at 1860-258-5000 (between 10 am to 9 pm – call charges apply) and also aggregate your cards, if required. Alternatively, you can write to membercare@payback.in stating your  16 digit card number & linked mobile number.

How can I redeem my PAYBACK Points?

Yes, you can call PAYBACK Contact Centre at 1860 258 5000 (between 10 am to 9 pm) to place the redemption order request or visit rewards.payback.in to convert the points online.

How can I change my existing PIN?

If you would like to change your existing PIN –
a. Login to your PAYBACK Account.
b. Go to My Account page.
c. Click on Change PIN
d. Alternatively, call the Contact Center to update the PIN.

If you have forgotten your PIN –
a. You can call our Contact Center and request for a PIN reset.
Customers can also log into the PAYBACK website and click on ‘FORGOT PIN’ link.

When will my PAYBACK Points expire?

PAYBACK Points will expire in 3 years from the date of issuance.

What is Future Privilege Membership?

Future Privilege Membership program is a special privilege program created for Future Group business partners and associates. Your enrolment with the IndusInd Bank PAYBACK Credit Card gives you access to this membership that gets you assured discounts at all participating Future Group outlets (viz BigBazaar, Central, Brand Factory, Home Town, FBB, ezone, Foodhalll)

All you need to do is this: Each time you shop, give your registered mobile number at the billing counter each time you make a purchase before billing. The cashier will feed your registered mobile number in the system and you can avail instant discounts.

There are Special Sale Previews, exciting offers and schemes that will be communicated to you from time to time.

This mobile based membership is valid for a period of one year (12 Months) from the date of issuance. The Maximum annual shopping limit across all participating stores is Rs 2 Lacs Only.

What if I am already enrolled as a Future Privilege Member?
