Terms & Conditions: Airline Ticket Bookings

  • Cardholder shall be eligible for the Welcome Gift on payment of the Joining fees or settlement of payment against joining fees.
  • The card holder will be sent a SMS from IndusInd Bank once he is eligible for a welcome gift within 10 working days of fee payment.
  • The card holder will then need to request for issuance of welcome gift to him within 180 days of receiving the SMS by contacting the Bank’s helpline number at 1860 0267 7777 or write to priority.care@indusind.com. The validity for claiming the WG would be 180 days from the date of receiving the SMS from Bank regarding eligibility.
  • The validity for travel would be 9 months (270 days) from the date of receiving the SMS i.e. all 3 tickets need to be claimed by the Cardholder within 180 days of eligibility for travel until 270 days. . The validity cannot be extended, if the customer fails to book within the specified validity.
  • Please note that in case the tickets are not booked by the customer/ any other issue due to which the customers claims non usage, no joining fees refund will be given to the customer by IndusInd Bank.
  • Welcome gift once selected cannot be changed.
  • Booking request to be made at least (fifteen) 15 days prior to the desired date of travel
  • Ticket would be booked for domestic sector under Economy class (For Vistara airlines, Economy would not include Premium Economy class).
  • Primary cardholder may book all three tickets in his name in case he is travelling thrice in 9 months. Alternatively, primary cardholder may choose to book a companion ticket/s (group booking) subject to he/she not exceeding maximum cap of 3 tickets.
  • It is mandatory for the primary cardholder to travel in case of group booking.
  • In case of group booking, all the tickets will be booked in the same PNR (sector, date, time & airline)
  • Sector has to be for non-stop flight only.
  • Following blackout dates will be applicable: 26th January to 28th January, 2018, 30th March to 1st April, 2018, 2nd November to 11th November, 2018, 23rd December to 1st January, 2019.
  • Bank can book the ticket on any airline and any time for the given day of travel. Choice of airline and time would be at Bank’s discretion.
  • Tickets would be booked subject to availability on the chosen travel date.
  • The price of the ticket booked for the customer may be of any value subject to it not exceeding the maximum of Rs. 10,000 including all applicable taxes.
  • For any upgrades or value added services the customer may require from the airline post booking the ticket; the same needs to be paid directly to the airline executing the booking.
  • For any cancellation; there will no refund processed to the customer account, if applicable.
  • Ticket once booked will be considered utilized and no new ticket will be booked in lieu of an existing booking cancelled by the Cardholder.
  • Bank will engage the services of Third Party for booking of tickets. The Cardholder authorizes the Bank to provide the Third Party with information regarding/ to facilitate ticket booking. Third Party may contact the customer through SMS, Email or phone calls regarding the ticket booking.
  • Ticket will be sent to customer’s registered e-mail address with the Bank.
  • Modification requests for tickets booked will not be accepted by the Bank. For any further requirement/ service matters related to the ticket booking, customer will have to liaise directly with the airline or travel agent and the Bank will not be responsible for any service delivery post booking ticket.
  • Any such requests given by the customer to the third party (travel agent) would be processed at the sole discretion of the third party to honor and the Bank will not be liable towards the same.
  • Bank does not underwrite or warrant the services performed by all/any airline and shall not have any liability for any defect, deficiency, delay, unavailability or imperfection in such goods / services of for any loss or damage that may be suffered, to a Cardholder directly or indirectly by use or non-use of the products / services provided by the airlines.
  • All standard terms and conditions of all/any airline with respect to bookings, cancellation and air travel including but not limited to baggage charges etc., will apply to these tickets also.
  • Bank's responsibility in the present offer is limited to sending the tickets booked to the Eligible Cardholders on their listed email address. The Cardholder hereby agrees that the airline is solely responsible for the acts and omission relating to the Tickets including but not limited to, availability of Tickets.

Bank reserves the right to change / modify / withdraw / suspend / cancel this offer or any features relating to this offer including the eligibility criteria, dates of offer, etc, at any time without prior notice to any Cardholder
