Mr. Jayant Deshmukh (Chairman of the CSR Committee)

Mr. Jayant Deshmukh was a career Government official with over 31 years of vast and varied experience in the field of Agriculture. He served as Director of Agriculture, Maharashtra State, from April 2010 to March 2016 in different capacities. Prior to that he held many important positions in the Department of Agri, Maharashtra. He has rich experience of working from grass root level to the top administration. He has domain expertise in the fields of seed certification, watershed development, crops insurance, agri input management, capacity building, farmers' organization, Organic farming, soil health, etc. He also worked as the Licensing and Regulatory Authority for the agri inputs and have closely coordinated with Govt. of India and the World Bank for successful implementation of their projects. Before joining the Department of Agriculture Maharashtra, Mr. Deshmukh served as Agri. Finance Officer in Bank of Maharashtra for nearly 18 months. Here he gained first-hand knowledge about rural and agricultural finance, rural livelihood issues, co-operation and issues related with recovery of Loans. A postgraduate in Agriculture, Mr. Deshmukh has imparted training in many areas relevant to his work, Training on Soil and water Conservation and Management at the International Irrigation Centre, Utah State University, Logan, USA and training on Rural Development at Feldafing, Munich, Germany, being a few notable among them. He has worked in close coordination with different Cooperative Institutions like the sugar cooperatives, Dist. Cooperative Banks, Multipurpose Societies for successful implementation of Government Programmes.'

Mr. Rajiv Agarwal

Mr. Rajiv Agarwal, B. Sc. in Physics, followed by 2 years course in Materials Science in Cranfield Institute of Technology in the UK. Mr. Agarwal has around 38 years of experience in ‘Small Scale Industries’ segment. Mr. Agarwal had started his career in the family business at JG Vacuum Flasks Pvt Ltd. manufacturers of thermos flasks and vacuum refills, with significant exports to Europe. During his career, Mr Agarwal has been a promotor in several small-scale ventures, primarily manufacturing concerns. Mr Agarwal is presently working as a Director in Rightsource Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Autopress India Pvt Ltd. He is also a partner in Sensory Solutions. Rightsource Technologies Pvt Ltd is a Consulting Company working as a local strategic buying office for large international company manufacturing home and kitchen appliances and cookware. Sensory Solutions is a firm in partnership with his sons. The activity is to conduct training programs with corporate as well as individual customers. Autopress India Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturing company making high end cookware. Autopress was one of the first companies to bring the Indian market “Triply” cookware “made in India” under the brand name of STAHL. This brand, in a short period of 5 years, has pan India presence. STAHL is there in about 1400 top retail counters across India. STAHL has also brought to the market the first Triply Pressure Cooker to the market in India.

Mr. Sunil Mehta

Mr. Sunil Mehta is a graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an Alumni of the Wharton School of Management, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Mr. Sunil Mehta has forty years of proven leadership experience in banking, financial services, insurance and investments with leading global and domestic financial institutions namely Citibank, AIG, SBI, PNB and YES Bank amongst others. Since the year 2000, Mr. Mehta he was in AIG companies and was responsible for all AIG businesses in India covering Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Asset Management and Investments amongst other businesses and was on the Board of all AIG Companies in India including, Tata AIG General Insurance and Tata AIA Life Insurance Ltd for several years. Mr. Mehta worked with Citibank for over 18 years where he held various senior positions covering operations, risk management, public sector business, sales & risk reengineering and extensively across corporate banking. He was an Independent Director on the Board of State Bank of India from June 2014 to March 2017; Non-Executive Chairman of Punjab National Bank from March 2017 till February 2020 and was then appointed Non-Executive Chairman of YES Bank Limited by a Government of India Notification dated March 13, 2020 under the Bank’s Reconstruction Scheme from March 2020 to July 2022.
