- Player Profile - Sujith Munda
Sujit Munda is from a village called Govindpur of Khunti District which is part of Ranchi.Sujit is the right hand all-rounder from B1 category and currently plays for Jharkhand State team. He is fascinated about cricket from his childhood along with other games and athletics. He enshrines himself with the world record of javelin throw that is 47 m of throw ever been done by any visually impaired person, this record he made it in the world international blind sports competition in 2012 at Colorado, America where he was representing as one of the 13 Indian players from the country and single boy from Jharkhand state to represent the nation. He has studied upto 12th Standard from a blind school, Delhi after completing his studies joined Jharkhand team in 2015. Since then he had given wonderful performances and been successful cricketers. He has participated in the bilateral series between Bengal and Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Jharkhand witnessed victorious triangular tournament. He is the B1 all-rounder played in all the Editions of Nagesh Trophy the National Tournament for the Blind and he and his boys have given tough fight.
