Freedom Yadav

Born to a farm labourer, Freedom started her sporting career with Athletics but switched to wrestling in 2016 after being inspired by Sakshi Malik. Her economic hardships and insurgency have never stopped her from pursuing her dreams of getting an Olympic medal. She was one of the first athletes to be inducted into the IIS program and has already produced some impressive performances in the Junior Nationals and U-23 Nationals with 3 medals.
