Ranjeet wanted to join the Indian Army from a very young age, so he started his training accordingly and kept himself fit and healthy in every possible manner. However, in 2012, he was involved in an accident in which his right knee was dislocated. It deteriorated due to a lack of knowledge or guidance, and Ranjeet was diagnosed with a disability. This incident shattered his dream of joining the army; he became demotivated and began to consider suicide. He got a job at a company after some time, and he was happy and earning well. One day his friend suggested he try to play para-sports, but Ranjeet was not aware of such a thing, so he went to see a sporting competition. There, after the competition was over, Ranjeet was just checking the athletics equipment and threw a javelin like a professional athlete. The coaches around the ground saw that and asked Ranjeet where he practices the sport; Ranjeet respectfully told them this was his first time holding a javelin in his hand. A few days passed, and Ranjeet researched the Para games and the different categories within them. So he got really motivated and started taking it very seriously; he resigned from the job and started his training. At the beginning, he faced a lot of challenges because of new people, new places, and a new atmosphere. But after getting used to all these things, he started practicing the sport. After a lot of ups & downs, obstacles and hard work, Ranjeet enjoys his sporting life and is eager to play more on the higher stage.
