Terms and Conditions: The Rewardz Festival 2021

  • The IndusInd Bank Limited (“IndusInd Bank” or “Bank”) “The Rewardz Festival” offer (Program) is open to all customers holding a valid and open IndusInd Bank Credit Card (Cardholder).
  • The program is not applicable to IndusInd Bank Corporate Cards, IndusInd Bank Classic Credit Card and IndusInd Bank Gold Credit Card and Credit Cards issued on or after October 01, 2021.  (“excluded cards”). The Program is not applicable on Credit Cards with the assigned credit limit of below INR 30000.
  • The Program is only applicable to Cardholders who have expressed their interest to participate in The Rewardz Festival. Cardholders would have registered their interest through any of the following modes and got a registration confirmation:
    • By sending an SMS with text:  JOIN to 5676757 from the Mobile Number registered with the Bank
    • By Clicking on the Link provided in the Emailer sent to the customer’s registered Email ID
    • By Calling the Customer Service helpline
    • By Clicking on the Mobile Push Notification on the Indus Mobile App.
  • Cardholders who have not confirmed their participation before 8th October 2021 will not be Eligible for any Benefits under this Program. On receipt of the registration from the Cardholder, the Bank will send an SMS with a registration number. Cardholders are advised to resend the Confirmation of participation if no registration SMS has been received from the Bank.

CONTENTS:

Program Details:
  • A minimum Spend level for each eligible Cardholder (“Spend Level or Minimum Spend Threshold”) has been communicated through Email/SMS. The Spend thresholds have been set for each Cardholder depending on factors such as, but not limited to, credit history, purchase patterns, payment behaviour, product type, credit limit, loyalty and vintage of the Cardholder.
  • For the purpose of this Program, Spends would mean the sum of all Purchase Transactions done using the IndusInd Bank Credit Card through Point of Sale (Card Present) Purchase, Online or E-Commerce/M-Commerce Internet Transaction, IVR Transaction, Mail Order/Telephone Order Transaction, Payment towards wallet loading and Standing Instruction done in the offer period.
  • All Purchase transactions excluding payment of Insurance Premium, Rent & Real Estate Payments, government taxes and bill payments will be considered for the purpose of calculating Achievement towards the Spend Levels.
  • Cash Withdrawals, Fees, Interest Charges, any other charges, EMI, Loan taken on the Credit Card and any transaction other than a Purchase Transaction will not be considered for the purpose of calculating achievement towards the Spend Levels (Exclusion to Spend).
  • The Offer Period is from October 1, 2021 to November 6, 2021 (both days inclusive). Thus only Spends (defined above) done in the Offer period on the Eligible Credit Card will be considered for the purpose of calculating Spends achievement in this Program.
  • Cardholder will be eligible for benefits under this Program only if the Spends are equal to or greater than the Minimum Spend Level.
Offer: Upon Meeting the Minimum Spend Level (Achievement):

If the Cardholder achieves Spends equal to or greater than the minimum Spend Level, Cardholder will be eligible for the following benefits:

Up to 2% Bonus Reward Points

  • Eligibility: Customers holding a valid and open IndusInd Bank Credit Card and who have received communication regarding the Upto 2% Bonus Reward Points offer
  • Offer Details -
    • If the Cardholder achieves Spends equal to or greater than the minimum Spend Level (Spend Level 1), Cardholder will be eligible for 1% Bonus Reward Points on all Eligible Spends.
    • In addition, if the Cardholder achieves Spends Equal to or Greater than Spend Level 2, Cardholder will be eligible for 2% Reward Points on Spends above Spend Level 1 and 1% Reward Points on all Spends up to Spend Level 1
  • Spends that will attract Bonus Rewards will exclude payment of Insurance Premium, Rent & Real Estate Payments, government taxes and bill payments.
  • The Bonus Reward Points earned under this Program will be over & above the Reward Points that the Cardholder earns on any transaction under the normal course.
  • Maximum Bonus Points under this Program will be restricted up to the cap mentioned in the communication.
  • This cap is only for the Bonus Rewards. Cardholders will continue to earn Reward Points under the Normal Course as per the Product Feature.

Top Spender Offers

  • Offer construct:
    Top 10 spenders during the offer period will be eligible for the gift under the ‘Top spender Campaign’. The top 10 spenders will be decided basis their spends during the Offer Period.
    • The top spender during the Campaign will be the Cardholder who does the maximum cumulative spends during the offer period and shall qualify to win a Hyundai Verna 1.5 S Plus Petrol Car. 
    • Next 4 highest spenders i.e. 2nd highest spender to the 5th highest spender shall qualify for Sony Bravia 164 cm 4K Ultra HD Smart TV KD 65X80J (2021 Model)
    • The next 5 highest spenders (6th highest to 10th highest) shall qualify for iPhone 12 Pro 128 GB Smartphones.
  • Offer Period:
    The Offer Period is from October 1, 2021 to November 6, 2021 (both days inclusive). Thus only Spends (defined under program details) done in the Offer period on the Eligible Credit Card will be considered for the purpose of calculating Spends achievement in this Program.
  • IndusInd Bank reserves the right to determine the Top 10 spenders during the Campaign Period.
  • Decision of the Bank with regards to the same shall be final and binding on the Cardholders.
  • In case of multiple Cardholders with the same highest spends during the Campaign period, the Cardholder who has done more number of transactions will qualify for the eligible gift.
  • In case of multiple Cardholders with the same highest spends during the Campaign period having done the same number of transactions, the Cardholder with the single highest purchase transaction value during the campaign period will qualify for the eligible gift.
  • IndusInd Bank staff is not eligible to participate in this offer.

Weekly Top Spender

  • Offer construct: 2 top spenders every week during the offer period will be eligible for OnePlus 9R 5G 256 GB, 12 GB Ram Smartphones. The top 2 spenders will be decided basis their weekly spends during the Offer Period.
    The next 100 top spenders every week will be eligible for Alexa Echo Dot 3rd Generation.
    The following 200 highest spenders every week will be eligible for 12 months Times Prime membership.
  • The Offer Period is defined from October 1, 2021 to November 6, 2021 (both days inclusive). Weeks considered for the campaign eligibility will be as below,
    • Week 1: October 1, 2021 to October 7, 2021
    • Week 2: October 8, 2021 to October 14, 2021
    • Week 3: October 15, 2021 to October 21, 2021
    • Week 4: October 22, 2021 to October 28, 2021
    • Week 5: October 29, 2021 to November 6, 2021
  • IndusInd Bank reserves the right to determine the weekly Top spenders during the Campaign Period.
  • Cardholder Spends will be determined basis their cumulative spends in a week.
  • A Cardholder can be a winner only once during the Campaign Period and for any one of the weekly campaigns.
  • In case of a tie between multiple Cardholders with the same highest spends during the weekly Campaign period, the Cardholder who has done more number of transactions during the week will qualify for the eligible gift.
  • In case of a tie between multiple Cardholders with the same highest spends during the weekly Campaign period having done the same number of transactions, the Cardholder with the single highest purchase transaction value during the week will qualify for the eligible gift.
  • Decision of the Bank with regards to the same shall be final and binding on the Cardholders.

‘5% Cashback Offer’: On Purchase transactions converted to EMI

  • If the Cardholder achieves Spends equal to or greater than the minimum Spend Level, Cardholder will be eligible for 5% Cashback on Purchase transactions converted to EMI
  • Above offer will only be applicable for Transaction to EMI Conversion.
  • Above offer will not be applicable for Outstanding to EMI Conversion, Transactions to EMI received through Merchant (Merchant EMI) and EMI Pass.
  • For the purpose of this Program, the minimum spends threshold should be achieved during the Offer period.
  • The 5% Cashback offer will only be valid for purchases made by Eligible Cardholders during the Offer period; i.e. from 1st October to 6th November 2021.
  • 5% Cashback will be calculated on the cumulative transaction value converted to EMI.
  • Maximum Cashback under this Program will be restricted up to the cap mentioned in the communication.
  • Maximum cashback will be limited to 5% of the total eligible spends done during the offer period.
  • EMI facility is at the Sole Discretion of the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to Approve or Decline request to convert the Transactions to EMI payment plan.
  • Offer is valid only on tenure of 12 months and above.
  • Period for Conversions to EMI is from October 1st 2021 to November 30th, 2021. Cardholders who fail to convert their festive purchases till 30th November 2021 will not be eligible for Cashback under this Program.
  • Request for EMI conversion can be placed through any channel - IndusMobile Application, IndusNet or through Contact Centre or Tele-calling channels.
  • Interest & Processing fee will be applicable as per the rates decided & disclosed by the Bank at the time of conversion of outstanding to EMI.
  • Pre-closure Fee of 3% with GST will be applicable in case of any pre-closure.
  • If the Loan is Pre-Closed/Cancelled either by the Cardholder or by the Bank before billing of the 6th EMI, Cardholder will not be eligible for Cashback under this Program.
  • If the purchase transaction is reversed in full or partial due to any circumstances, customer will not be eligible for cashback on the particular transaction.
  • Processing Fee, as communicated to the Cardholder will be applicable.
  • Cashback under this Program will not be credited if the Cardholder has an overdue outstanding at the time of crediting of Cashback to the Cardholder’s Credit Card account.
  • Purchase transactions of INR 2000 or more can only be converted for payment through EMI.
  • Fuel, Purchase of Gold, Jewellery and other restricted categories cannot be converted to EMI and will not be eligible for cashback.

Examples:

For All eligible cardholders who have received the communication for Upto 2% Reward Points

  • Cardholder ‘Arun’ is a Legend Cardholder
  • On Receiving the Communication, Cardholder Registers for the Program Period
  • Minimum Spends Levels Rolled out to the Cardholder:
Spend Level INR
Spend Level 1 (Minimum Spend Level for 1% Reward Points) 100,000
Spend Level 2 (Minimum Spend Level for 2% Reward Points) 150,000

Scenario 1: Cardholder spends less than Spend Level 1 i.e. INR 60000

Under this scenario, Arun will not be eligible for any benefits under this Program.

Scenario 2: Cardholder’s eligible spends are more than Spend Level 1 but less than Spend Level 2 i.e. INR 140,000

Under this scenario,

  • 1% Reward Points Offer on eligible spends done - Arun will be eligible
  • 5% Cashback Offer if he opts for transaction conversion to EMI purchases during the offer period - Arun will be eligible
  • Top Spender Offer: Arun will be eligible if he qualifies for the Weekly or Campaign Top Spenders offer

Scenario 2a: Arun spends INR 50,000 on Insurance Premium and Rent Payments and INR 90000 on eligible purchases

Under this scenario,

  • 1% Reward Points on eligible spends done - Arun will not be eligible as minimum spends threshold not achieved on eligible spends since Insurance Premium & Rent Payments are excluded
  • 5% Cashback Offer if he opts for transaction conversion to EMI purchases during the offer period – Not applicable for same reason as above
  • Top Spender Offer: Arun will not be eligible for same reason as above

Scenario 2b: Arun spends INR 30,000 on Insurance Premium and Rent Payments and INR 1,10,000 on eligible purchases and did not convert transaction to EMI

Under this scenario,

  • 1% Reward Points on eligible spends done - Arun will be eligible
  • 5% Cashback Offer if he opts for transaction conversion to EMI purchases during the offer period – Arun will not be eligible as no transactions converted to EMI
  • Top Spender Offer: Arun will be eligible if he qualifies for the Weekly or Campaign Top Spenders offer

Scenario 3: Cardholder’s eligible spends are more than Spend Level 2, i.e. INR 170,000

Under this scenario,

  • 1% Reward Points on eligible spends done till INR 100,000 - Arun will be eligible
  • 2% Reward Points on eligible spends done beyond INR 100,000 - Arun will be eligible
  • Top Spender Offer: Arun will be eligible if he qualifies for the Weekly or Campaign Top Spenders offer
  • 5% Cashback Offer if he opts for transaction conversion to EMI purchases during the offer period - Arun will be eligible

Scenario 3a: Arun spends INR 80,000 on Insurance Premium and Rent Payments and INR 90000 on eligible purchases and did not convert Outstanding to EMI

Under this scenario, Arun will not be eligible for any offer since eligible spends are lesser than the minimum spend threshold

Scenario 3b: Arun spends INR 50,000 on Insurance Premium and Rent Payments and INR 1,20,000 on eligible purchases and did not convert transactions to EMI

Under this scenario,

  • 1% Reward Points on eligible spends done till INR 100,000 - Arun will be eligible
  • 2% Reward Points on eligible spends done beyond INR 100,000-  Arun will not be eligible as his eligible spends are less than the Spend Level 2
  • Top Spender Offer: Arun will be eligible if he qualifies for the Weekly or Campaign Top Spenders offer
  • 5% Cashback Offer if he opts for transaction conversion to EMI purchases during the offer period – Arun will not be eligible as no transactions converted to EMI

Scenario 3c: Arun spends INR 10,000 on Insurance Premium and Rent Payments and INR 1,60,000 on eligible purchases and did not convert transactions to EMI

Under this scenario,

  • 1% Reward Points on eligible spends done till INR 100,000 - Arun will be eligible
  • 2% Reward Points on eligible spends done beyond INR 100,000-  Arun will be eligible
  • Top Spender Offer: Arun will be eligible if he qualifies for the Weekly or Campaign Top Spenders offer
  • 5% Cashback Offer if he opts for transaction conversion to EMI purchases during the offer period – Arun will not be eligible as no transactions converted to EMI

Scenario 3d: Arun spends INR 10,000 on Insurance Premium and Rent Payments and INR 1,60,000 on eligible purchases and converted transactions to EMI

Under this scenario,

  • 1% Reward Points on eligible spends done till INR 100,000 - Arun will be eligible
  • 2% Reward Points on eligible spends done beyond INR 100,000-  Arun will be eligible
  • Top Spender Offer: Arun will be eligible if he qualifies for the Weekly or Campaign Top Spenders offer
  • 5% Cashback Offer if he opts for transaction conversion to EMI purchases during the offer period – Arun will be eligible
Fulfilment:
  • Bonus Reward Points or Cashback under this Program will be awarded only if the Cardholder achieves his or her Minimum Spend Level. No Bonus Reward Points or Cashback will be awarded if the Cardholder does not achieve his or her minimum Spend Level (Spend Threshold 1).
  • Purchase Reversal Transactions posted on Cardholder’s Card Account during the Program Period will be deducted from the Spends for the Purpose of calculating Spends Achievement irrespective of whether the Original Transaction corresponding to this Reversal was done during the Program Period or before the Program Period.
  • Only Settled Transactions; i.e. Transactions done during the Program Period and which have been successfully posted into the Cardholder’s Card Account by November 15, 2021 will be considered for calculating achievement under this Program.
  • The Bank will not be responsible if a Transaction Authorized by the Bank has not been settled by the Merchant.
  • Bonus Reward Points or Cashback under this Program will be credited to the Cardholder’s Credit Card account latest by January 31, 2022.
  • In case the Cardholder has any issues/disputes regarding the Bonus Rewards credited or Cashback, he/she must raise his or her concerns before March 31, 2022. Any disputes raised post this date will not be entertained by the Bank. 

Fulfilment: Program Top spender and Weekly Top Spender

  • The winners of the ‘Top spender Campaign’ and the ‘Weekly Top Spender Campaign’ will be intimated through SMS/Email/Telephonic call by 31st January 2022.
  • Bank reserves the right to publish, or to not publish the list of winners on the Bank's website.
  • The dispatch of the gift will be fulfilled on or before 1st March 2022, post successful TDS deduction or any other applicable taxes and charges.
  • Winners will have to bear the charges related to vehicle registration, local taxes, GST, insurance or other such charges, if applicable.
  • In case of the Car, the gift value will be at the ex-showroom price of the Car only. Any charges if applicable beyond the same will be borne by the winner.
  • This Program cannot be clubbed with any other program that may be made available to the Cardholders by IndusInd Bank.
  • IndusInd Bank shall, with the help of the authorized vendor/dealer, attempt to have the Gift delivered at customers registered mailing address or at the nearest authorised vendor/dealer. If the Gift is not claimed by the winning Cardholder, Bank shall hold the Gift till 31st March, 2022. After the termination of this time period, IndusInd Bank shall be under no obligation to entertain any requests or claims for the Gift item. In order for the Gift to be delivered to the eligible and winning Cardholder, the Cardholder understands and permits IndusInd Bank shall share the Cardholder(s)’(s) details like name, address, phone number etc. with the authorized vendor for contact/delivery of the Gift item. Cardholder has to ensure that their latest Address are updated in the Bank records.
  • No queries shall be entertained after 31st March 2022. The existence of a dispute, if any, regarding the Campaign shall in no event constitute a claim against IndusInd Bank.
  • Any cancellations, reversals or foreclosures on the Facility, before the dispatch of the Gift will amount to cancellation of the Gift Offer to the Cardholder.
  • The Winning Cardholder in the ‘Top Spender Campaign’ shall not be entitled as the winner in the ‘Weekly Top Spender Campaign’ as part of the same program.
  • In case the eligible Cardholder of the ‘Top Spender Campaign’ refuses to accept the gift or refuses to fulfil the above mentioned conditions by the above deadline, the Cardholder’s eligibility stands cancelled and shall be offered to the next eligible Cardholder.
  • Each Cardholder can be entitled to maximum of only one gift as part of the campaign. If the winning Cardholder of the ‘Weekly Top Spender Campaign’ becomes eligible for multiple weekly Campaigns and for different gift items, he/she will be awarded with the highest gift value.
  • In case the eligible Cardholder of the ‘Weekly Top Spender Campaign’ refuses to accept the gift or refuses to fulfil the above mentioned conditions by the above deadline, the Cardholder’s eligibility stands cancelled.
  • Gift Offer is non-transferable, non-binding and non-encashable.
  • No substitutions or exchange of Gift, other than what is detailed in the communication sent to the Cardholder shall be allowed. However, IndusInd Bank reserves the right to substitute and/or change the Gift to an equivalent gift of similar value on account of non-availability of Gift, without any intimation or notice, written or otherwise to the Cardholder.
  • All visuals of the Gift in the communication sent to the Cardholder are indicative only.
  • IndusInd Bank will not be responsible for any claims/damages of the eligible Cardholder in case of deficiencies in the product or the services of the Vendor.
  • Bank would not be held responsible for any manufacturing defects or deficiency in service or any other aspect on which Bank does not have any direct control.
  • IndusInd Bank shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss/damage/claim that may arise out of the use of or otherwise of any goods/services availed of by the Cardholder/s under the Campaign.
  • Each Cardholder can only be eligible for one gift.
Other generic Terms & Conditions & Definitions:
  • Spends made using the Add-on Credit Card(s) will accrue in the account of the Primary Cardholder for calculating Achievement under this Program.
  • In case a Cardholder, is holding two or more Eligible Credit Cards from IndusInd Bank, the minimum spend thresholds on each Card account may differ. In such a scenario, the Spends done on one Card account will not be added/clubbed with Spends done on the other Card account. Each Credit Card account will be considered separately. 
  • If the Cardholder upgrades or downgrades his/her Credit Card to any of the excluded cards, the Cardholder will not be eligible for any benefits under this Program.
  • To be eligible for participating in the Program, the Cardholder must maintain a clean payment record in respect of his/her Credit Card i.e. the Cardholder should not have failed to pay the minimum amount due on his/her Card during the Offer Period or before receiving the offer.
  • IndusInd Bank shall not be liable or responsible for non-receipt or delivery of any SMS/other communication relating to this Program due to any reason beyond the control of IndusInd Bank.
  • The participation in the Program shall constitute deemed acceptance by the Cardholder of all the terms and conditions governing the Program.
  • All applicable taxes, duties, levies of whatsoever nature in connection with the Program shall be borne solely by the Cardholder.
  • The Bank at its sole discretion can decide Cardholders who can avail this Program. Delinquent Credit Card members will not be eligible for the benefits of this offer. "Delinquent Credit Card Account" means an account of a Cardholder which has an outstanding which is past due or which, in the sole opinion of the Bank, has unsatisfactory credit standing. Cardholders whose Credit Card accounts are currently delinquent or become delinquent at any time before the communication of the offer or during the Offer Period, will be ineligible for the benefits of this Program.
  • If the Cardholder ceases to be a Cardholder at any time during the Program Period or before or after the communication of the offer, all benefits under the Program shall lapse. This includes any relationship terminated either by the Bank or the Cardholder.
  • In all matters relating to the Program, the decision of IndusInd Bank shall be final and binding in all respects.
  • The Bank reserves the right at any time without prior notice to add, alter, modify, all or any of these Terms and Conditions or replace, wholly or in part, this Program by any other Program, whether similar or different to this Program or to withdraw it altogether without giving prior notice.
  • The Terms and Conditions of the Program shall be in addition to and not in substitution/derogation to the Primary Terms and Conditions governing the Card and shall at all times be read along with the terms of the Cardholders’ Agreement and such other terms and conditions that the Bank may deem appropriate at its sole discretion. Any irreconcilable contradiction between the terms and conditions contained herein and the Cardholders’ Agreement, then the terms of the Cardholders’ Agreement to prevail the present conditions.
  •  Any disputes arising out of this Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Mumbai only.
