IndusInd Bank supports the Indian Blind Cricket Team, both Men and Women, in collaboration with the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) – a Sports Initiative of the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled.
In a bid to spread awareness about this programme, the Bank launched unique campaigns titled #TheOtherMenInBlue in 2017 and #CheerForThemToHear in 2022, thereby extending support to 17 players who were a part of the Indian Blind Cricket team at the World Cup for blind which garnered significant appreciation from all across the country.
Using cricket as a platform, the players are taught to have an optimistic outlook towards life, build confidence and strive for victory.
This programme aims to propel players towards outshining their capabilities, surpass boundaries, and encourage their peers who are visually impaired, to practise the sport on a larger scale.
