Huidrom Hemabati Devi

Huidrom Hemabati Devi is a Sub-junior judoka who started judo by watching and learning from her aunt, who is also a judoka, while she was at practice. She looks up to Commonwealth Gold medalist & fellow IIS athlete L. Sushila Devi. Hemabati was scouted by Head Coach Mamuka Kizashvils and Ast. Coach Chanu for the IIS Judo program. She feels the High-Performance environment combined with nutritious food at IIS is precisely the place that will help her grow into an international-level judoka.
