Khaidem Taibanganbi Chanu

Taibanganbi Chanu was inspired to take by her father who is a Judo Coach in Mayang Imphal West, Manipur. She was scouted by Head Coach Mamuka Kizashvils and Ast. Coach Chanu for the IIS Judo program in 2022 and already feels being at IIS has helped her technique and also improved her difficulty with language as before coming here she only used to speak Manipuri. She is in awe of various facilities at IIS like the Judo Mats, Academic department & especially various recovery provisions like Ice Bath, Sauna room, etc. Her aim is to be a World Champion Judoka & contribute as a Judo coach, just like her father.
