Terms and Conditions: Cashback Offer on UPI Transactions via Indie App (@indie handle) 

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to and regulate the provision of Cashback Offer from IndusInd Bank on UPI Transactions via using Indie App handle (@indie handle) to Customer/s (as defined hereinafter). IndusInd Bank will offer the eligible Customer/s Cashback Offer from IndusInd Bank on UPI Transactions via using Indie App handle (@indie handle), in accordance with rules, regulations, circulars and/or  guidelines issued from time to time by the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”), by the National Payments Corporation of India (“NPCI”) and/or by any authority/body established under the applicable law/s, and the Customer/s shall avail of the same subject to the terms and conditions herein specified.

Offer Valid till:  31st July 2025 

IndusInd Bank Limited (“Bank”) has introduced a limited-period promotional offer under which eligible customers can earn cashback on their first-ever UPI debit transactions using Indie UPI handle (@indie) through the Indie App (“Offer”). The Offer shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility 

• The Offer is open for customers holding an Current Account or Saving Account (“CASA”) with Bank (“Customers”). 
•  Customer must be registered on the Indie App and have UPI services activated. 
• The Offer is applicable only on the first-ever UPI debit transaction made using the “@indie” UPI handle via the Indie App. 
• The UPI transaction must be a peer-to-merchant (P2M) payment, executed through the “Scan & Pay” feature linked to Customer’s/s’ IndusInd CASA on Indie App. 

2. Offer Details

This is a one-time cashback Offer valid during the Offer Period, applicable as follows:

Note: Cashback is applicable on the first eligible UPI debit transaction only.

3. Offer Exclusion(s)

The following transactions shall not qualify for the cashback: 

• Transactions that are unsuccessful, reversed/refunded/cancelled  
• Fraudulent or suspicious transactions, including those flagged under UPI guidelines.  
• Peer-to-Peer (P2P) transactions such as sending/transferring money to friends or family via UPI ID or mobile number. 
• Transactions made through other UPI-enabled apps (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.) even if linked to an IndusInd Bank account. 
• UPI payments for the following purposes: 
  • Wallet top-ups 
  • Credit card bill payments 
  • Loan repayments 
  • EMI collections 
  • Mutual fund or insurance purchases 
  • Utility bill payments (e.g., electricity, gas, water, etc.)  
•  Merchant payments not done via QR scan, including those initiated through UPI collect requests or payment links. 

4. Cashback Credit 

• Eligible cashback will be credited to the Customer’s linked IndusInd Bank account within 75 working days from the date of the qualifying transaction. 
• In case of any failure or delay or non-receipt of cashback, Customers may reach out to customer care [details mentioned below] within 75 days from the transaction date. 

5. General Terms

• The Offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other offer or promotional offer. 
• Each Customer can avail the cashback only once during the Offer Period 
• Customer’s CASA must be active & not closed at the time of cashback processing 
• Participation in the Offer is voluntary and constitutes deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
• Any applicable tax liability on the cashback shall be borne solely by the Customer 
• Bank makes no warranties representations or guarantee regarding the quality, suitability or merchantability of goods / services availed by the Customers through this Offer. 
• Bank reserves the right to disqualify any Customers from the Offer in case of suspected fraud, misuse, breach of these terms or for unusual transaction pattern etc.  
• Bank’s decision in all matters relating to the Offer shall be final and binding.  
• The Bank reserves the right to amend, add, alter, modify, withdraw, or revise the Offer or any of these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice at its sole discretion.  
• These Terms shall be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions applicable to CASA and/or the agreement executed between the Bank and the Customer/s (“Customer Agreement”) and/or such other terms and conditions that the Bank may deem appropriate in its sole discretion. Any irreconcilable contradiction between the terms and conditions contained in these Terms as herein and the Customer Agreement, then terms of the Customer Agreement to shall prevail and superseded these Terms.  
• Any disputes arising out of this Offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and subject to Indian laws.
