  • The Bank has been one of the first Indian organisations to incorporate integrated thinking into its reporting.

Ratings

IndusInd Bank participates in sustainability-related disclosures with stakeholders such as Global ESG Rating Agencies (CDP, S&P Global, Refinitiv, and others), investors, and regulators (SEBI, RBI, and others), and reports to various stakeholders. An update on ratings for FY 2022-23 is as follows:

Refinitiv ratings: Improved the Bank’s ranking from 57th out of 914 to 27th out of 1123 global companies and categorized as a Top Performer. The Bank has received the highest rating/score among Indian Banks

Euromoney: Ranked as a Market Leader for ESG in India for the second consecutive year.

Asia Money award: The Bank has also been awarded as the best bank in the ESG category award for FY2023 by Asia Money for the second consecutive year.

Domestic Rating:
• CRISIL AA+ for Infrastructure Bonds Program/Tier-2 Bonds.
• CRISIL AA for Additional Tier-1 Bonds Program.
• CRISIL A1+ for Certificate of Deposit Program/Short-term FD Programme.
• IND AA+ for Senior Bonds Program/Tier-2 Bonds by India Ratings and Research.
• IND AA for Additional Tier-1 Bonds Program by India Ratings and Research.
• CARE A1+ for Certificate of Deposits.

International Rating:
• Ba1 for Senior Unsecured MTN Programme by Moody’s Investors Service.

Reporting

IndusInd Bank has been one of the first organizations in India to incorporate integrated thinking into its operations and reporting. The Bank believes in creating long-term value for its stakeholders and has been voluntarily reporting its sustainability performance since 2011. The Bank published its first Integrated Report in 2017. IndusInd Bank has since continued to publish Integrated Reports that provide a holistic view of the Bank’s strategy, performance, relationships, and value-creation efforts, as well as its overall approach towards Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.
