The Rewardz Festival Offers

  • The IndusInd Bank Limited (“IndusInd Bank” or “Bank”) “The Rewardz Festival” offer (Program) is open to all customers holding a valid and open IndusInd Bank Credit card (Cardholder)
  • The program is not applicable to IndusInd Bank Corporate cards, IndusInd Bank Classic Credit Card, Jet Airways IndusInd Bank Odyssey Credit Card, Jet Airways IndusInd Bank Voyage Credit Card and Credit Cards issued after August 31, 2016 (“excluded cards”)
  • The program is valid from October 1, 2016 to October 31, 2016 (both days inclusive), hereafter to be referred as the Program Period.  
  • Program:
    • Minimum Spend level for each eligible cardholder will be rolled out (“Spend Level”) and the same will be communicated. Spend Level has been set for each Cardholder depending on factors such as, but not limited to, credit history, purchase patterns, payment behaviour, credit limit, loyalty and vintage of the cardholder
    • For the purpose of this Program, Spends would mean Purchase Transactions done using the IndusInd Bank Credit Card through Point of Sale (Card Present) Purchase, Internet Transaction, IVR Transaction, Mail Order / Telephone Order Transaction or Standing Instruction.
    • Spends made using IndusInd Bank Credit Card during the program period (“Achievement”) will be considered for calculating eligibility under this Program. Only Purchase transactions will be considered as eligible transactions for the purpose of calculating achievement towards the Spend Levels. Cash Withdrawal, Balance Transfer, Fees, Interest Charges, Loan taken on the credit card and any transaction other than a Purchase Transaction will not be considered for the purpose of calculating achievement towards the Spend Levels. Spends made by using add-on cards will accrue in the account of primary Cardholder for calculating Achievement under this Program
    • For the purpose of this program, Spends will further be classified into ‘Eligible online spends’ and other Spends. Eligible Online Spends would mean purchase transactions done online (on the internet using two factor authentication) using the IndusInd Bank Credit Card in India in Indian Currency except purchases done online for travel (airline, railways, bus & car rentals etc.) and hotel, any utility bill payments (Electricity bill, water bill, Gas bill, Telecom Bill payments etc.), loading of e-wallets & m-wallets, Insurance Premium payments and Payments/purchases of similar nature.
    • All other Purchase transactions that are not forming a part of Eligible Online spends will be termed as Other Spends. 
    • Cardholders need to register to avail of the Benefits under this Program.
    • Cardholders can register for the Program through any of the Following Modes:
      - By sending an SMS with text: JOIN to 5676757 from the Mobile Number Registered with the Bank
      - By Clicking on the  Link provided in the Emailer sent on the email ID registered with the Bank
      - By Calling  the Customer Service helpline
    • The Registration will not be accepted if the SMS is sent from a Mobile Number that is not registered in  our records or if the Cardholder clicks on the link in the Email after forwarding the mail to an Email Id, other than the one on which the Program Email was sent
    • Registration will be considered valid for all requests received on or before September 30, 2016. Once Registered, all Spends done during the Program Period (1st October 2016 to 31st October 2016) will be eligible for the purpose of this Program
    • On receipt of the Registration Request from the cardholder, the Bank will send an SMS confirming the inclusion of the Cardholder in the program, on the Mobile Number registered with the Bank. Cardholders are advised to resend the Registration Request if the Confirmation SMS from the Bank is not received within 2 working days. Registration in the program will be complete only on such confirmation received from  the Bank
    • Cardholders who have not Registered for the Program will not be Eligible for any Benefits under this Program
    • Under this program, Cardholders will be rewarded with 5% cash back for Eligible Online Spends and 2x (Two Times) Reward Points on other Spends made during the program period if customer spends equal to or more than the set Spend Level.
    • Reward Points under this Program will be calculated on the Reward Points earned by the cardholder in normal course purchase. The ratio of Total reward points earned during the course of normal purchase during the program period to Total spends during the program period will be used for the purpose of calculating bonus rewards under this program. 2x would mean reward points earned under the course of normal purchase plus an equivalent number of reward points as bonus reward points
    • Maximum cashback under this program will be restricted to INR. 5000 and Maximum Bonus Reward Points under this Program will be restricted to 10,000 bonus points per Card Account.
    • Cash back and Reward Points under this Program will be awarded only if the Cardholder Achieves his or her Spend Level. No cash back or Reward Points under the Program will be awarded if the Cardholder does not Achieve his or her Spend Level.
    • On Achievement of the spend level, all eligible online spend transactions will get 5% cashback and will not be eligible for 2X reward points. The reward points on these transactions earned by the cardholder in normal course will be granted to the cardholder. 
    • All eligible online spends over and above the permissible limit of cashback will be included for reward points subject to the maximum cap of reward points.
      Example:
      • Cardholder ‘X’ is a Platinum Cardholder
      • On Receiving the Communication, Cardholder Registers for the Program Period
      • Spend Level Rolled out to the Cardholder is Rs. 200,000

      12000 (i.e. 1/100) Qualifies for the program 1,50,000 x  5/100 =7500   Customer will get Rs 5000 only since Max cap is Rs 5,000, thus Transactions of up to Rs 100,000 will be eligible for cash back. (50,000 + 10,50,000 x 1/100 = 11000      Rs. 50,000 that was over and above the permissible limit of cashback will be included for reward points subject to a maximum of 10,000 reward points.
    • Cash back & Reward Points earned on all Cards including Primary Cards and Add-on Cards under one Card Account will be clubbed for the purpose of calculating Maximum Cash back & Maximum Reward Points.
    • Purchase Reversal Transactions posted on cardholder's Card Account during the Program Period will be deducted from the Spends for the Purpose of calculating Spends Achievement irrespective of whether the Original Transaction corresponding to this Reversal was done during the Program Period or before the Program Period.
    • Only Settled Transactions i.e. Transactions done during the program period and which have been successfully posted into the cardholder's card account by November 30, 2016 will be considered for calculating achievement under this Program
    • The Bank will not be responsible if a Transaction Authorized by the Bank has not been Settled by the Merchant
    • Bonus Reward Points and Cash back under this Program will be credited to Cardholder's Credit Card account by December 31, 2016 and will reflect in the January 2017 statement.
  • If the cardholder upgrades or downgrades his/her Credit Card to any of the excluded cards, the cardholder will not be eligible for any benefits under this program
  • To be eligible for participating in the program, the Cardholder must maintain a clean payment record in respect of his/her Card i.e. the Cardholder should not have failed to pay the minimum amount due on his/her Card during the Offer Period or at the time of evaluation of the credit of CashBack/Reward Points by IndusInd Bank. IndusInd Bank shall not be liable or responsible for non-receipt or delivery of any SMS/other communication relating to this program due to any reason beyond the control of IndusInd Bank. IndusInd Bank reserves the right to modify/amend any communication/SMS related to the Program at any later date during the program Period.
  • The participation in the Program shall constitute deemed acceptance by the Card member of all the terms and conditions governing the Program
  • Only approved undisputed Purchase transactions will be eligible for being considered under the Program.  All transactions that have been carried out on the Card during the Program Period and reversed subsequently for any reason whatsoever shall not be considered while calculating Spends Achievement under this Program
  • All applicable taxes, duties, levies of whatsoever nature in connection with the Program shall be borne solely by the Cardholder.
  • The Bank at its sole discretion can decide Cardholders who can avail this Program. Delinquent Credit Card members will not be eligible for the benefits of this offer. "Delinquent Credit Card Account" means an account of a Cardholder which has outstanding which is past due or which, in the sole opinion of the Bank, has unsatisfactory credit standing. Cardholders whose Credit Card accounts are currently delinquent or become delinquent at any time before the Credit of CashBack/Reward Points, that is December 31, 2016, will be ineligible for the benefits of this program
  • If the Cardholder ceases to be a Cardholder at any time during the Program period or before the Credit of CashBack/Reward Points, that is before December 31, 2016, all benefits under the Program shall lapse. This includes any relationship terminated either by the Bank or the Cardholder.
  • In all matters relating to the Program, the decision of IndusInd Bank shall be final and binding in all respects
  • The Bank reserves the right at any time without prior notice to add, alter, modify, all or any of these terms and conditions or replace, wholly or in part, this Program by any other Program, whether similar or different to this Program or to withdraw it altogether without giving prior notice
  • The terms and conditions of the Program shall be in addition to and not in substitution/derogation to the Primary Terms and Conditions governing the Card and shall at all times be read along with terms of the Cardholders’ Agreement and such other terms and conditions that the Bank may deem appropriate in its sole discretion. Any irreconcilable contradiction between the terms and conditions contained herein and the Cardholders’ Agreement, then terms of the Cardholders’ Agreement to prevail the present conditions
  • Any disputes arising out of this Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Mumbai only
