Double Rewards on Birthday Celebrations

• Double Rewards on Birthday Celebrations (“Program”) is open to select Credit Cardholders of IndusInd Bank Limited (“IndusInd Bank”/”Bank”), who hold a valid and open IndusInd Bank Credit Card (“Cardholders”). IndusInd Bank Classic Cardholders are not Eligible for this offer
• For the purpose of this Program, “Birthday Week” will be defined as Three Days preceding the Birthday, Birthday and Three Days succeeding the Birthday
• Cardholder’s Date of Birth as updated in Bank’s Records will be considered for the purpose of this Program
• The offer is applicable only to the Primary Cardholder. Spends made on Add-on Cards will not be eligible for Rewards under this Program
• Under this Program, Cardholders will get Double Reward Points on Spends made at Restaurants, Bars and Pubs, Entertainment and Cinema Spend categories (“Celebration Categories”) during the Birthday Week
• The Bonus Reward Points will be calculated on the Reward Points earned by the cardholder in normal course on Celebration Category Spends. For instance, a Platinum Credit Cardholder will earn 15 points on Dining Spends of INR 1000 on the IndusInd Bank Credit Card. The Cardholder will receive Additional 15 Bonus Reward points under this program. In this scenario, the Platinum cardholder will receive 30 reward points for Spends made on Celebration Categories during the Birthday Week
• The maximum number of Bonus Points per customer for the Birthday Week will be restricted to 500 Bonus points
• For the purpose of ascertaining Spends Category Merchant Category Group (MCG) as defined by Visa / MasterCard / American Express will be applicable.
• Only Transactions classified under Merchant Category – (i) Restaurants or (ii) Bars and Pubs or (iii) Cinema or (iv) Entertainment will be considered for the purpose of calculating Bonus Reward Points
• Dining spends at Restaurants in Hotels will not be eligible for Bonus Rewards under this Program if the MCG is classified as Boarding, Hotel or Resorts
• IndusInd Bank will not be responsible, if any Merchant Establishment has not mapped its MID (Merchant ID) under the correct MCC
• Only approved undisputed transactions will be eligible for being considered under the Promotion. All transactions that have been carried out on the Card on the Promotion Date and reversed subsequently for any reason whatsoever shall not be considered for eligibility to participate in the Promotion
• To be eligible for participating in the Promotion, the Cardholder must maintain a clean payment record in respect of his/her Card i.e. the Cardholder should not have failed to pay the minimum amount due on his/her Card on the Promotion Date or at the time of evaluation of the reward points by IndusInd Bank. Qualifiers, who are found to have failed to pay the minimum amount due on the Card, shall be disqualified and shall not be considered as eligible for any reward under this program. 
• Bonus Reward Points under this Program will be credited to Cardholder’s Credit Card account within 60 days after the Birthday Week
• The decision of IndusInd Bank to reward bonus reward points to the Qualifiers shall be final and no queries regarding the rewards or the identities of the Qualifiers will be entertained.
• In the event that a Cardholder has undergone an upgrade / downgrade of his/her Card on or after the Birthday Week, the accrual of Bonus Points will be calculated based on the Reward Points earned by the cardholder on the Credit Card used for Celebration Categories during the Birthday Week. In the event of a renewal during the Birthday Week , the spends made on the previous card during the Birthday week will be considered along with the spends made on the renewed card.
• If the Cardholder ceases to be a Cardholder at any time during the Birthday Week or before the Credit of Reward Points, all benefits under the Program shall lapse. This includes any relationship terminated either by the Bank or the Cardholder.
• In the event that a cardholder holds multiple card accounts from IndusInd Bank, that is cardholders holding Multiple Primary Cards with different Statements. Offer will be valid only on the card mentioned in the communication sent to the customer
• IndusInd Bank reserves the rights to amend or change the terms and conditions or nature of the Program or withdraw the Program partially or completely at any time without prior notice.
• Participation in the Program is purely on a voluntary basis and this Program shall be in addition to and not in substitution/abrogation of any other features and benefits of the Card.
