Terms and Conditions – 3x rewards offer

  • 3x rewards Offer (“Program”) is open to Selected Credit Cardholders of IndusInd Bank Limited (“IndusInd Bank”/”Bank”), who have a valid and open IndusInd Bank Credit Card and who have received communication regarding the offer (“Eligible Cardholders”)
  • For the purpose of the Program, Purchase Transactions would mean Transactions done using the IndusInd Bank Credit Card at a Merchant Outlet (Card Present), Internet Transaction, IVR Transaction, Mail Order / Telephone Order Transaction or through Standing Instructions. Cash Withdrawal and Loan on Phone transactions will not be considered for the purpose of this program
  • Program is valid for purchases made by Eligible Cardholders between July 1, 2016 and August 31, 2016, both days inclusive (“Program Period”)
  • For the purpose of this program, cardholders need to spend INR. 10,000 or more in each of the months i.e. INR. 10000 each in July 2016 and August 2016 on IndusInd Bank Credit Card to be eligible for the 3X reward points.
  • Bonus Reward Points under this Program will be calculated on the Reward Points earned by the cardholder in normal course purchase during the program period. Total number of points that the customer will earn would be equal to the reward points earned during the normal course (x) + Bonus Points which equal Double the reward points earned during the normal course (2x) = 3x
  • Example:
    Eligible Cardholder ‘Customer A’ holds a Signature Credit Card. Customer A to qualify needs to spend a minimum of Rs. 10,000 in each July’16 and August’16.
    • Scenario 1: if Customer A uses IndusInd Bank Credit Card for purchase of Rs. 15000 in July’16 but spends only Rs. 5000 in August’16. Customer A will not be eligible for bonus rewards under this program
    • Scenario 2: if Customer A uses IndusInd Bank Credit Card for purchase of Rs. 15000 in July’16 and spends only Rs. 25000 in August’16. Customer A will be eligible to get 3X reward points. Under the Normal course, Customer A will earn 600 points (1.5 Reward Points for every Rs 100) on the Spends of the 2 months. Under the program, the customer will get 1200 additional reward points.
    • Scenario 3: if Customer A uses IndusInd Bank Credit Card for purchase of Rs. 1000 in July’16 and spends Rs. 19000 in August’16. Customer A will not be eligible for bonus rewards under this program
  • The maximum bonus reward points credited under this program will be 2000 reward points
  • Only Settled Transactions i.e. Transactions which have been successfully posted into the customer’s card account on or before September 30, 2016 will be considered for the purpose of this Program
  • The Bank will not be responsible if a Transaction Authorized by the Bank has not been Settled by the Merchant by September 30, 2016
  • Only approved undisputed Purchase transactions will be eligible for being considered under the Program. All transactions that have been carried out on the Card during the Program Period and reversed subsequently for any reason whatsoever shall not be considered while calculating Spends Achievement under this Program
  • For the purpose of calculating eligibility under this program, net transaction during the program period will be considered. Any transaction reversal or purchase credit received during the program period will be deducted from Purchases made during the program period
  • Spends made using Add-on card will accrue in the account of Primary Cardholder for calculating Achievement and eligibility under this Program
  • Reward Points earned on all Cards including Primary Cards and Add-on Cards under one Card Account will be clubbed for the purpose of calculating Maximum Bonus Reward Points
  • Bonus Reward Points will be credited to the card account by October 15, 2016
  • Reward points under this program will not be credited if the cardholder has an overdue outstanding at the time of crediting of Reward Points to the cardholders card account
  • IndusInd Bank reserves the rights to amend or change the terms and conditions or nature of the Program or withdraw the Program partially or completely at any time without prior notice.
  • Participation in the Program is purely on a voluntary basis and this Program shall be in addition to and not in substitution/abrogation of any other features and benefits of the Card
  • IndusInd Bank shall not be liable or responsible for non-receipt or delivery of any SMS/other communication relating to this program due to any reason beyond the control of IndusInd Bank
  • The participation in the Program shall constitute deemed acceptance by the Card member of all the terms and conditions governing the Program
  • To be eligible for participating in the program, the Cardholder must maintain a clean payment record in respect of his/her Credit Card i.e. the Cardholder should not have failed to pay the minimum amount due on his/her Card during the Offer Period or at the time of evaluation of the credit of reward points by IndusInd Bank
  • The Bank at its sole discretion can decide Cardholders who can avail this Program. Delinquent Credit Card members will not be eligible for the benefits of this offer. "Delinquent Credit Card Account" means an account of a Cardholder which has an outstanding which is past due or which, in the sole opinion of the Bank, has unsatisfactory credit standing. Cardholders whose Credit Card accounts are currently delinquent or become delinquent at any time before the Credit of Reward Points, that is October 15, 2016, will be ineligible for the benefits of this Program
  • If the Cardholder ceases to be a Cardholder at any time during the Program Period or before the Credit of Reward Points, that is before October 15, 2016, all benefits under the Program shall lapse. This includes any relationship terminated either by the Bank or the Cardholder.
  • The terms and conditions of the Program shall be in addition to and not in substitution/derogation to the Primary Terms and Conditions governing the Card and shall at all times be read along with terms of the Cardholders’ Agreement and such other terms and conditions that the Bank may deem appropriate in its sole discretion. Any irreconcilable contradiction between the terms and conditions contained herein and the Cardholders’ Agreement, then terms of the Cardholders’ Agreement to prevail the present conditions
