Vishakhapatnam, May 29, 2015: IndusInd Bank has inaugurated a new branch in Vishakhapatnam in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The new branch is located at D. No: 47-10-24/25, Ground Floor, Sai Trade Centre, Dwarakanagar, 2nd Lane, Visakhapatnam -530016, Andhra Pradesh. The Visakhapatnam zone covers the five districts – Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari.
With the inauguration of new branch, IndusInd Bank now has 20 branches in Andhra Pradesh state and in Vishakhapatnam , the Bank has 5branches. The Bank plans to further strengthen its presence and customer reach in Andhra Pradesh with more branches in the coming quarters.
The new branch located in Dwarakanagar commercial area of Vishakhapatnam was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr.V Satya Sai Srinivas, Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, Vishakhapatnam and Mr. K Ramchandra Mohan, Joint Commisioner & Executive Officer, Simhachalam. Along with the chief guests, Mr. K V Sateesh, Regional Head (Vigaz region), IndusInd Bank and Mr. Sreedevi V.from IndusInd Bank and other senior bank officials graced the branch opening ceremonies.
Commenting on the inauguration of branch in Andhra Pradesh,Mr. Soumitra Sen, Head Branch Banking,IndusInd Bank said “We are happy to inaugurate a new branch in Vishakhapatnam , which is growing and constantly evolving market for the bank. This aligns with the Bank’s strategy to extend the reach and offer entire gamut of financial services including credit, savings, invest ments and insurance products to customers across Andhra Pradesh state. The new branch aims at deepening relationships and attracting new customers, thus strengthening IndusInd Bank’s client base across the region. As we expand into deeper geographies to serve the local populace, we look forward to bringing a whole new world of convenience and flexibility to customers.“
